Throughout my life as a physician, scientist, mother and wife, I’ve been guided by many philosophies and a driving desire to make this world a better place.
The 21 years I spent in Indiana were ones that I treasure, both personally and professionally. I watched my three children evolve into wonderful adults; had the honor of treating many inspiring young patients at Riley Hospital for Children; and bolstered Indiana University’s position as a focal point for biomedical research and a catalyst for Indiana’s life sciences initiative. With such strong ties to my work and the community, the decision to come to Michigan took a great deal of consideration. Continue reading
